Fire resistant/composite safes
Fire Resistant - These are good for protecting records and papers so they don't burn up, but on the low end in burglary protection. Composite safes have adequate fire protection but are also built with heavier bolts and/or an external re-locker for burglary.
Money safes
These safes are built to protect money, jewelry, and other valuables but offer little to no fire protection.
They are primarily made of steel, although some are filled with concrete to add weight. Typical burglary ratings are TL-15 and TL-30 (tool resistant for 15 or 30 minutes).

Big enough inside for cash drawers, this generic-type safe is all steel with a digital lock you can change yourself. It's a little rough but does the trick with a TL_15 rating and external re-locker. All steel and heavy!, this money safe can easily hold cash drawers without worry. It was a miracle that we moved this thing because it weighs about 2000 pounds ( got any thick steel plates filled with concrete?)

McGunn TL-30
Our heaviest money safe to date logs in at about 2700 lbs. I can't believe that we moved this one too! Great for large cash stashes or jewelry. I could put $10,000 in this safe and easily be able to sleep at night
